Imagine contributing to the development of cutting-edge Data Platforms, leveraging your expertise in Azure cloud technologies, data architecture, and modelling concepts.

As a seasoned Data Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients achieve their business goals by architecting, designing, and implementing large-scale Data Platform, Business Intelligence (BI), and Analytics solutions.

With a strong focus on technical excellence, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data technology strategies and roadmaps, ensuring seamless delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and delivering end-to-end Azure Data Platforms, encompassing Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, pipelines, BI, and Data Analytics solutions
  • Presales, estimating, and proposal writing, responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Remaining up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Collaborating with clients to understand business needs and translate requirements into reporting and data analytics functionality
  • Oversight and support of delivery team outputs
  • Data modelling, design, and build
  • Enforcing technical architecture and documentation standards, policies, and procedures
  • Analysing, implementing, and resolving issues with existing Azure Data Platforms
  • Providing accurate and complete technical architectural documents
  • Addressing customer queries and issues in a timely manner
  • Providing mentoring and hands-on guidance to other team members

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years' experience in a similar senior role
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Data Lake Storage Gen2, SQL Database, Data Factory, DevOps, Stream Analytics, Power BI, and Purview
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworks
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level
  • Formal training and/or certification on related technologies is highly valued
