Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization's IT infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions for on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Define architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices to ensure alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Evaluate new technologies and trends in infrastructure and cloud computing to recommend and implement improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure solutions in both traditional data center and cloud environments.
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure services (compute, storage, networking) and management tools.
  • Strong proficiency in infrastructure automation, orchestration, and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud architectures, including integration of on-premises infrastructure with cloud resources.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
