Job Summary

We are looking for a Python 3 Developer with strong backend development skills to work on systems that power our next generation of AI-driven games. You'll be building and optimizing tools, APIs, and infrastructure that will directly impact how our games are designed, generated, and experienced by players.

This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact, cutting-edge product alongside a small, passionate, and talented team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Python 3.
  • Design and implement REST APIs for internal tools and game systems.
  • Create and integrate 2D visualizations (Matplotlib or similar) for data insights.
  • Work with JSON and YAML for data serialization and configuration.
  • Collaborate with designers and AI engineers to integrate backend logic with game systems.
  • Ensure backend code is performant, maintainable, and scalable.
  • Contribute to data modeling, schema optimization, and backend architecture improvements.
  • Write scripts and automate tasks using Bash in a Linux environment.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, planning sessions, and code reviews.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; strong understanding of linear algebra is a plus.
  • Strong experience with Python 3.
  • Proficiency with Linux environments and Bash scripting.
  • Experience in REST API design and development.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and schema optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and collaborative communication.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience

Preferred:

  • Experience with Matplotlib or similar visualization libraries.
  • Comfort with JSON and YAML data formats.
  • Familiarity with agile workflows and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Background in game development or interest in gaming technology.
