About the Role
Draftt is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build the foundation of our go-to-market efforts. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers — sparking conversations, identifying opportunities, and showcasing the value of Draftt.
As one of the first sales hires, you'll help shape how we grow our pipeline, engage prospects, and scale our sales motion. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage company, learn fast, and have a major impact.
You'll partner with leadership to refine our outbound strategy, personalize messaging, and lay the groundwork for a repeatable, high-performing sales process.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage a pipeline of interested prospects to support our growing sales team.
- Generate leads and establish relationships by nurturing warm prospects and identifying new opportunities.
- Develop a daily outreach plan, including calls, emails, and follow-ups with potential leads.
- Present Draftt's value proposition in a way that aligns our platform with each customer's challenges and goals.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
- Track and report on progress through our CRM, ensuring visibility, transparency, and accountability.
Who You Are
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) - must.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday and U.S hours - must.
- 2+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within a SaaS company.
- A proven track record of engaging with CIOs, CTOs, VPs, or other senior decision-makers in the DevOps / Platform Engineering space.
- A strong work ethic, self-drive, and the ability to execute end-to-end sales processes.
- A passion for outreach and persistence in engaging with prospects, even when it takes creativity and grit.
- Results-oriented with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding goals.
Bonus Points For
- Familiarity with or interest in learning about AI, productivity, or collaboration tools.
- Experience with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo/Lusha, or Outreach.
- Curiosity about startups, SaaS, and how modern teams use software to move faster.
