Quality Assurance Automation Lead

Responsibilities

· Create and maintain automation frameworks for R&D products.

· Design, automate, and implement test cases for a variety of products using Playwright and other modern tools.

· Develop and apply integrated testing processes for both new and existing products.

· Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure testability and quality.

· Collaborate closely with manual QA engineers to gain system knowledge and improve automation flows.

· Build and maintain testing tools to enhance QA capabilities and efficiency.

· Develop and execute load and performance tests as needed for product validation.

· Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous validation.

· Support BDD workflows by maintaining feature files and aligning automated tests with product requirements.

· Test integrations with simulators, APIs, and external systems (e.g., payments, cloud services).

requirements :

· 7+ years of hands-on experience in automation development and execution.

· Strong experience with Playwright using JavaScript for end-to-end testing.

· Strong expertise in QA testing, Agile methodologies, and defect management.

· Solid background in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks.

· Practical knowledge of REST API testing and validation using tools like Postman and Playwright.

· Experience in integrating automation with MongoDB

· Proven experience working in multidisciplinary companies (hardware + software, embedded + cloud, or similar).

· Familiarity with test management and CI/CD tools such as Jira, Xray, and Jenkins.

· Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice-to-Have / Advantage

· Experience establishing automation from scratch (framework selection, strategy, guidelines).

· Basic Python knowledge is a plus

· Working knowledge of BDD practices (Cucumber/Gherkin).

· Experience in integrating automation frameworks with simulators or test environments.

· Creative thinker who enjoys problem-solving and finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.

· Hands-on experience with performance testing using JMeter.

· Experience testing retail solutions.
