Hardware System Architect

The Lidar Platform group is responsible for specifying and designing the hardware components of Innoviz's lidar products, which are complex multidisciplinary systems consisting of electronics, optics, mechanics, Algorithms and SW. The group is the technical authority in hardware system considerations, and concept verification including performance, reliability, and robustness.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Architect to join our group. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and designing architecture for advanced electro-optical systems. You will work closely with the design teams who implement the different sub-systems. ResponsibilitiesDevelop system architecture of sub-systems, features, and algorithms, and define the verification criteria for the different requirements.Define how the product meets product-level requirements.Break down requirements to the different system disciplines. Analysis and simulation of system performance and characteristics.Working together with other system engineering teams, SW architecture teams, and other disciplines (HW, optics, mechanics, SW etc.) on the integration and bring-up.Researching novel system architecture concepts and solving highly complex and multi-disciplinary problems.
