In this role, you would lead the team and the account activities in Israel while maintaining, strengthening, and growing relationships with key stakeholders. As a Synopsys Global Account team member, Sr. Manager drives sales to obtain revenue and booking goals by working directly and through the account sales team to build pipelines and expand usage and business growth. Emphasis is placed on acting as a liaison/program manager working closely with R&D, Product Marketing, and Application Engineers to address and satisfy customer requirements. The Sr. Manager will create short- and long-term growth opportunities by building relationships with key executives and technical managers of existing, potential, and new customers. The qualified candidate should be proactive, aim high, lead a team, and help drive multi-million-dollar and complex technical sales campaigns.

The ability to grasp complex technical data and to communicate with a broad range of technical and non-technical peopleThe ability to multi-task, be organized and detail-oriented, and effectively interact with a variety of different interpersonal stylesGood problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsAccount planning, project management, forecasting, lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, and delivery of sales presentations and proposals to new or existing customers. Also, responding to information requests and inquiries from executives and global team membersWorking in a team matrix environment with Global Account Directors, Sales Managers, TSSMs, PSSMs, Executive Account Managers, Applications Consultants, Corporate Applications Engineers, Marketing, and R&D to meet and exceed established objectives of the account teamDeveloping and directing complex technical sales plans, which may involve competitive displacements or creative business solutions to meet or exceed pre-established quotas and account initiativesDriving and coordinating technical resources to support an understanding of the customer’s challenges and needsEvaluating products, developing a solution proposal, and closing business with the customer through managing the complete sales opportunity and processDeveloping long-term business opportunities by creating a close relationship with key decision-makers within the account baseCoordinating the preparation of written proposals and interfacing with internal organizations such as business units, legal, finance, and order processing to close business
Preferred Experience
B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field requiredMinimum 5 to 7 years of technical selling experience in EDA or semiconductor salesA deep understanding of IC Implementation and knowledge of Verification flows and methodologies, together with knowledge of the complete sales processLeadership skills to lead a teamExperience working with large customers doing complex SOCs helpful
