Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare Haifa Ultrasound group is looking for an outstanding software engineer for its application team. The ideal candidate would combine deep technical understanding, strong problem-solving skills, passion for innovation and be a true team player. In this position you’ll take part developing the next generation Ultrasound system UX and complex user optimized workflows based on touch technology.

Job Description

Mandatory skills and experience:

  • B.A./B.Sc. in CS/EE from a leading institution / experience from IDF tech units.

  • At least 5 years developing client side software with C#.

  • At least 5 years of developing complex application with C++.

  • Experience building complex Windows applications using WPF.

  • Experience building complex multithreaded software.

  • Excellent knowledge of OO design principles and patterns.

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

  • Passion for quality and experience in writing well tested code.

Bonus skills:

  • DICOM/HL7 interoperability interfaces

  • Familiarity with HW/SW interfaces and Windows internals.

  • Passion for quality and experience in writing well tested code.

  • Familiarity with UX design principles.

  • Experience working in Agile settings (Scrum/Kanban).
