TMFGroup Israel is hiring an experienced, dedicated bookkeepers for a full or a part time position.

The team provides bookkeeping services for different and global clients.

2 Typical work activities
  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Bring the books to the trial balance stage
  • Monitor client's bank statements and perform bank reconciliations
  • Keeps track of client assets.
  • Communicates (both in verbal and written form) with clients, client suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts.
  • Handles client mail.
  • Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients.
  • Assists accountants during audit and/tax return preparation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by accountants or partners.

3 Skill Requirements

  • Minimum of two years responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
  • Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English and a basic Hebrew.
  • Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

3.1 Technical skill requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Excel application
  • Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks and priority software's

3.2 Social skill requirements
  • Self motivated but equally work well in a team setting.
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Organized and methodical approach to record keeping and reporting
  • Attention to detail
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work under stress
