NPI Team Lead- Detection

As NPI Team Lead you will be responsible for leading Detection-Automation team and projects of developing new production lines, leading all aspects of the operations activities related to new product introduction and changes in produced parts.
Your role:
- Leads team of Engineers that are involved in complex multi-functional Operations Product Industrializations and/or Transfer projects on single or multi-site until project closure (PC)
- Develops and executes the engineering policy with a 1-3 line of sight. Interacts with x-functional management to improve quality upstream
- Supervises, selects, coaches and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the department. Pro-actively develops new methodologies, seeks alignment x-business to improve ways of working to become more efficient and realize shorter time to market
- Process owner for the processes in the relevant area like process validation. Ensures employees work compliant and provide sufficient training to keep up-to-standard. Keeps abreast of new regulations and assess impact for own work
- Trains and instruct direct reports such that the project is handed over to the factories on time against predefined First Pass Yield targets. Manages constant communication with stakeholders in case of deviations
- Directs employees and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally.
- Reports on employees' performance
- Applies lean methodology and structural problem-solving methods to improve way of workings of the team
You're the right fit if you have:
- Relevant B.Sc. degree
- Minimum 5 years' experience in leading engineering projects or/and team.
- Proven work experience with multidisciplinary systems, medical device background and process/ manufacturing engineering.
- Project management skills: problem solving, value stream mapping and organizational skills, team and stake holder management, ability to lead projects E2E, knowledge of project management methods
- Ability to resolve complex issues in creative ways and influence stakeholders accordingly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead in matrix environment cross-functional teams
- Experience working in global corporate environment
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of project costs estimation techniques - advantage
