Job Description

As an SOC Architect, you will be a crucial member of our architecture group, responsible for defining and designing the architecture of our advanced AI SOC solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that our products meet performance, power, and area requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and develop the architecture for AI-focused SOC solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, verification, software, and systems engineering, to ensure cohesive SOC architecture and implementation
Lead the specification and documentation of SOC features and requirements
Oversee the integration of various IP blocks and subsystems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
Conduct architectural reviews and provide feedback to improve design methodologies and processes

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in ASIC frontend design
Protocols and Interfaces: Familiarity with PCI, fabrics, AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB), peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART), debug traces interfaces, and SOC boot processes
Advanced Knowledge: Experience with multi-die package designs
Design Skills: Proficiency in high-performance, low-power design techniques
Debugging: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex SOC issues
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
