Job Description
Intel RealSense RND organization is at the forefront of advancing 2D and 3D sensing technology, which is integral to a variety of applications including robot safety and navigation, industrial measurement, retail, and more.
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Algorithms Engineer with expertise in Computer Vision and 3D Sensing to join our innovative team.
- Develop cutting-edge CV algorithms and stereo camera calibration techniques.
- Design and implement camera safety algorithms.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation technology and products in the field of 2D and 3D sensing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide algorithmic solutions tailored to research or specific product needs.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of algorithm development, including programming, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as algorithms engineer in research or RnD capacity.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with defining algorithmic solutions for implementation in real time software and/or hardware (RTL)
- Knowledge and experience with computer vision algorithms
- Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art stereo based 3D sensing including feature extraction, epipolar geometry, image matching
- Knowledge in 3D, projective, and multiple view geometry including camera calibration, camera pose, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI algorithms, such as object recognition, segmentation.
- Experience with training deep learning and machine learning models to robust and high-quality performance

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
