Internal Controls Auditor

About the Role:
This role is responsible for assisting in the completion of audit activities, developing workpapers, and communicating with team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting concepts, audit methodologies, and risk-based auditing techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the completion of audit activities, including obtaining and reviewing prior year audit work papers and other relevant documents.
- Develop workpapers for assigned audit areas in a timely manner.
- Communicate with audit team members and audit clients to keep them informed of the status of work.
Requirements:
- Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 1-3 years of relevant audit experience in public accounting and/or internal auditing.
- Skills Requirements: Applied knowledge of accounting concepts, audit methodologies, risk-based auditing techniques, The IIA's International Professional Practices Framework, Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, COBIT, U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, etc.
