Regulatory Legal Advisor

The Regulatory Counsel will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with emerging regulatory and legal requirements relevant to the gaming industry.
This role requires a strong understanding of consumer-facing tech, digital media, and online safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on laws relating to online and mobile apps, consumer protection, e-commerce, user-generated content, and more.
In this position, you will work closely with the games studios, legal and compliance team, privacy and competitive intelligence functions to develop and monitor policies and standards applicable to the business.
- Conduct global research and monitoring to ensure the business is aware of and compliant with emerging regulatory and legal requirements.
- Work with and manage local outside counsels in different countries to seek and implement advice.
- Monitor, review, and assess new laws and regulations relating to online safety of digital content.
- Support other in-house lawyers and our product legal team to review new products and features to comply with relevant laws.
- Draft, review, and maintain new and existing processes and policies with the Playtika Compliance team to ensure compliance with new trade control and sanctions laws.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing regulatory strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive regulatory initiatives and achieve business objectives.
- Providing expert guidance on regulatory matters to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a qualified lawyer in a high-tech global regulatory role.
- Background in consumer-facing tech and/or digital media.
- Experience advising on laws relating to online and mobile apps, consumer protection, e-commerce, user-generated content, and more.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
