Travel Telemetry Nurse - Career Advancement Opportunity

GHR Healthcare's Travel Division is seeking a skilled and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to fill a 12-week travel nursing position in Joliet, Illinois.

Job Description

As a Travel Telemetry Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including monitoring and managing their treatment plans. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective patient outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, identifying any changes or abnormalities
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment options
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Hold a current RN license
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a Telemetry setting
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac rhythms
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
