Respiratory Care Professional Needed

About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care and support in the delivery of comprehensive respiratory services.

You will be working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for administering respiratory care procedures and modalities, operating specialized ventilators, and educating patients on respiratory care techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory care procedures and modalities in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Operate specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues.
  • Clean, maintain, and ensure proper functionality of equipment.
  • Provide medication treatments and therapies per physician order and/or patient-driven respiratory protocols as prescribed.
  • Educate and instruct patients in the purpose, technique, self-care, goal of therapy, and disease management.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree.
  • R Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
