Heavy Haul Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a logistics coordinator to join our team and manage the transportation of oversized and overweight loads. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy haul truck operations and planning routes that comply with state and federal regulations. They must be able to coordinate the transportation of these loads, working closely with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.

Job Description:
This position involves coordinating the transportation of oversized and overweight loads, which requires careful planning and execution to ensure safe transportation. The logistics coordinator must be able to secure loads properly, perform routine inspections and maintenance of the truck, and maintain accurate logs and records of cargo, routes, and hours of service.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the transportation of oversized and overweight loads
• Plan and execute routes that comply with state and federal regulations
• Secure loads properly to ensure safe transportation
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the truck
• Maintain accurate logs and records of cargo, routes, and hours of service

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy haul transportation
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
• Strong knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy haul equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
