Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a 12-week assignment in Illinois. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and provide high-quality patient care.

About the Assignment:

This is a travel assignment that offers flexibility and variety in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, working closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be expected to:

* Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes

* Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and providing emotional support where needed

* Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans

* Maintain accurate records and reports of patient data, procedures, and results

* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

* Current certification as an RT(R) or R.T.(R) (Radiologic Technologist) with specialized training in Interventional Radiology

* Proven experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in Interventional Radiology

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in imaging equipment operation and maintenance

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion
