This role involves taking ownership of a product category from our extensive catalog of business support products. As an Associate Category Manager, you will be responsible for researching and sourcing new products and vendors to support new product development.
You will have the opportunity to visit vendors to understand manufacturing processes and attend trade shows to stay ahead of industry trends. In addition, you will lead vendor negotiations to build successful partnerships and collaborate with the Creative and Purchasing teams to develop effective catalog and digital strategies.
The goal is to make a direct impact in increasing company profitability, product quality and data accuracy by mentoring and supporting Product Management Analysts to foster their growth.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 years of experience in Category Management, Supply Chain or Marketing
- Able to travel for trade shows and vendor visits
