Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications. This position offers the opportunity to have a real impact in an influential company.

We're seeking a skilled Backend Developer with experience in Python and Django framework. If you're a creative and autonomous engineer with a real passion for technology, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams to design and develop web applications using Python and Django framework.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
  • Perform unit testing and debugging to identify and fix issues.
  • Work closely with product manager and architect teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Python with strong programming and software development skills.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Python developer with hands-on experience in the Django framework.
  • Experience in complex microservices based architectures.
  • Knowledge of Linux networking and understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in developing virtualization solutions using technologies like QEMU and Docker.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
