Job Summary

This position requires a registered nurse with experience in stepdown/pcu nursing to provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team in a dynamic progressive care unit setting. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

About the Role

As a PCU registered nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals requiring specialized medical attention. This may involve administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

You will be expected to maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, communicate effectively with patients and their families, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and plan future care.

Requirements
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois
  • At least 2 years of experience in stepdown/pcu nursing
  • Valid BLS and NIHSS certification
