Job Title: Dining Services Associate

About the Role:
This position is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to residents in a community setting. As a Dining Services Associate, you will be part of a team that strives to deliver high-quality food and service while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of daily meals, including altering recipes for special dietary needs.
  • Presentation of food on plates, ensuring an appealing appearance.
  • Coordination and participation in serving food, monitoring portion control, and minimizing waste.
  • Maintenance of accurate records of chargeable meals and submission of reports by designated dates.
  • Collaboration with the Dietary Manager to plan and adjust menus based on seasonal foods, vendor prices, and special events.
  • Identification of food and supplies needed for upcoming menus and communication with the Dietary Manager.
  • Proper handling, storage, and labeling of delivered foods and ingredients.
  • Maintenance of a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

Education:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Certifications/Licenses:
A ServSafe certification is mandatory.

Experience:
Minimum 1 year of cooking experience is required.

Compensation:

USD $21.00/Hr - USD $24.00/Hr
