Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in the lives of patients.

Job Description:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with various conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests, such as pulse oximetry and arterial blood gas analysis, to assess patients' lung function.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a respiratory therapist in the state of employment.
  • Experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in a hospital or intensive care unit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
