Student Help Desk Assistant Job Description

This role is an excellent opportunity to join our IT support team as a Student Help Desk Assistant. As a member of our team, you will provide technical support and manage the internal IT equipment inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line support for employees through our internal ticketing system.
  • Manage hardware requests and equipment replacements (laptops, peripherals, accessories, etc.).
  • Oversee and maintain the IT storage and inventory room.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing or wiping laptops for new and departing employees.
  • Work closely with the IT Procurement Manager on hardware-related logistics and tracking.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, or a technical discipline).
  • At least 1 year of studies remaining.
  • Availability to work at least 2 days per week on-site (3 days preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Service-oriented, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks such as moving and setting up equipment.
  • Fluent in Hebrew. Proficiency in English is an advantage.
