About the Role

As a cloud infrastructure specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our global network of servers. You will lead a small team of engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, performance, and security of our systems.

You'll be both strategic and hands-on - guiding architectural decisions, driving automation and observability improvements, and enabling development velocity across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a globally distributed team, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality delivery at pace.
  • Own and evolve our cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, while continuously improving our CI/CD pipelines and environments.
  • Maintain and scale our Kubernetes-based workloads and services.
  • Improve system observability, alerting, and incident response processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support new feature rollouts, infrastructure changes, and platform reliability goals.
  • Ensure security best practices across infrastructure and deployments.
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud-native environments.
  • 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring DevOps teams.
  • Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Proven expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Solid understanding of security, monitoring, and incident response in production environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with distributed teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cost optimization strategies on AWS.
  • Familiarity with service mesh, multi-region architecture, or edge/CDN infrastructure.
