Procurement Expert

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading competitive bidding processes, negotiating commercial terms, analyzing proposals, creating commercial reports, and selecting suppliers in accordance with company policies primarily in the areas of Business & 3rd party Services Procurement.

• You will formulate requests for proposal/quotations/information, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations, coordinating the preparation of RFPs and Statements of Work (SOW).
• You will administer and lead cross-functional teams through the competitive bidding process, direct supplier negotiations, develop, evaluate, and select suppliers in accordance with company policies.
• You will strategically source services and goods using various methods to ensure an uninterrupted supply.
• You will evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to provide goods/services at costs consistent with budgetary expectations.
• You will negotiate contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks, collaborating with internal and external legal counsel as necessary.
• You will analyze trends and make corresponding sourcing decisions.
• You will engage in regular contact with suppliers.
• You will participate in meetings with suppliers to rectify issues and ensure they are capable of meeting and aware of requirements and expectations.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in procurement, preferably in HR and professional services, insurance management, real estate with in-depth understanding of types of services being purchased.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation is essential.
• Knowledge of Business and 3rd Party Services purchasing processes with a clear commercial focus on project-type contracts and requirements.
• Experience working in a high-performance organization with multiple systems and organizations related to compliance, safety, quality, and environmental management.
• Fluent in English.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Self-starter with excellent planning, project management, work planning, and organizing skills.
• Strong computer skills with ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office suite products.
