Epic Product Optimization Specialist

This role involves the adoption and optimization of assigned features in the Epic software application. As an Epic Product Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for direct and indirect support throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, organizing, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have firsthand experience with multiple Epic implementations, as well as strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams, including physicians, administrative staff, and partnered vendors.

You will be working closely with clinical and business departments, external customers, and vendors to identify and execute system optimizations. Additionally, you will develop tools and methods to optimize assigned Epic functionality and maintain detailed knowledge of Epic application capabilities and research and development efforts.

• EPICC - EPIC Certification required
• Ability to simplify complex initiatives related to Epic technology and applications
• Strong interpersonal relationship management skills with the ability to motivate through goal setting, modeling, and building a culture of positivity and productivity
• Knowledge of information technology concepts, including networking, databases, software, interfaces, requirements gathering, testing, training, and production support
