Infrastructure Automation Specialist

As a leading innovator in the insurance industry, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automating infrastructure deployments, managing cloud environments, and working with CI/CD pipelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in both AWS and Azure environments. They will also develop and maintain efficient Azure DevOps pipelines to automate deployments and streamline application lifecycle management.

We are looking for someone who is proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or AWS CloudFormation. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating tasks and infrastructure management is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in both AWS and Azure environments.
2. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain efficient Azure DevOps pipelines to automate deployments and streamline application lifecycle management.
3. Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision, configure, and manage cloud resources.
4. Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track infrastructure performance and availability and optimize resources for cost efficiency.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that support agile development and deployment processes.
6. Security: Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including identity management, data protection, and compliance with industry standards.
7. Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Respond to incidents and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements:

• At least 2.5 years of experience working in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and their associated services.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, including creating, configuring, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating tasks and infrastructure management.
