About This Role:

We're seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to spearhead our data infrastructure solutions. As part of our Data Stores team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering scalable data infrastructure that underpins our products.

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in cloud infrastructure and database management to drive innovation and growth. You'll collaborate with highly technical software engineers to shape the way we store vast amounts of data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your technical expertise to design, implement, and deliver scalable data infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead and mentor engineers to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Investigate and implement performance and cost optimizations for our cloud infrastructure.
  • Create or introduce tooling and processes to support operational aspects required for maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure, implementing new offerings as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure engineer or backend-oriented software engineer.
  • Experience with AWS Infrastructure and database products.
  • Strong Linux troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with configuration management (chef, ansible, terraform or cloud formation).
  • Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
