Materials Planner

The Supply Chain Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations.

This position is responsible for managing materials, purchasing data, and coordinating contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics, and charts based on research of data.
• Collects, compiles, and presents various types of data to support business decisions.
• Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on research of data from multiple sources.
• May create and/or maintain databases to aid in data collection.
• Audits data to resolve integrity issues and escalates potential issues related to metrics.
• Tracks financial performance and initiates corrective actions when required.
• Daily review of RMA transactions and creates weekly purchase orders including all client parts.
• Receives data entry for clients, updates content list, and item master.
• Prepares DPT packing lists for LCAD repairing and provides window to client material (consigned parts) supply and bulk RMA service.
• Specialized duties may include inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
• Develops commodity spend profiles/breaks-downs and guides time profiling, inventory positioning, and site execution to price.
• Establishes common pricing research tools and provides detailed bill of materials research by site.
• Performs general reporting and activities for scorecarding of suppliers and validates site pricing through implementation of a common cost review and pricing process.
• Assists in supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI and provides PPV targeting, tracking, and asset velocity.
• Designs, manages, and controls all data research tools.

Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in materials or a related field.
• A background in electronics manufacturing is desired.
