Radiologist Wanted for Inpatient Coverage

A locum radiologist is needed to provide inpatient coverage at a facility in Maywood, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an inpatient setting and be comfortable reading a variety of imaging modalities, including CT scans, ultrasounds, and body MRI.

The selected candidate will work a standard schedule, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with call schedules to be determined. Remote candidates are welcome, with teleradiology available for those who prefer to work from home. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the employer.

Requirements for the position include an active Illinois medical license, board certification, and basic life support training. Experience with Epic, PowerScribe, Intlerad PACs, and Softek Illuminate is a plus. Patients of all ages are seen, but pediatrics is not required.
