Job Summary

Behavior Analyst

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with students in the school's Extended School Year (ESY) program.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and directing the implementation of Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), collaborating with IEP teams, and providing assessment, program design, training, supervision, and monitoring services.

The BCBA will participate in building intervention team meetings and may be asked to attend IEPs as needed. Additionally, they will model and train school-based providers in best practices in FBA/BIP development, implementation, and assessment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing individualized student FBA/BIPs and monitoring their implementation
  • Providing guidance and feedback on classroom environments and systems of support
  • Maintaining progress notes, data analysis, data collection methods, and other required paperwork or reports

The BCBA will also meet with IEP service providers such as teachers, school social workers, school psychologists, speech therapists, OTs, PTs, para-educators, and principals.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Prior school-based BCBA experience is preferred
  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed in IL
