Biomedical Algorithm Developer Role

This is a unique opportunity to develop algorithms for a state-of-the-art biomedical device. As a key member of the development team, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborate with peers to improve the lives of patients with chronic heart failure.

The role involves developing algorithms for signal processing from biological and electronic sources, as well as implementing and integrating these algorithms into software environments. You will also be responsible for optimizing algorithms and models to improve device accuracy and stability.

In addition, you will play a significant role in data mining and analysis, collecting and processing structured and unstructured data to gain insights that can inform algorithm development. Your expertise in Python programming and proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and documentation will be invaluable assets to the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop algorithms for signal processing from biological and electronic sources.
  • Implement and integrate algorithms into software environments.
  • Optimize algorithms and models to improve device accuracy and stability.
  • Collect and process structured and unstructured data to inform algorithm development.

Requirements:

  • BSc (MSc or PhD) in electrical engineering, applied physics or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Ability to communicate and document knowledge clearly.
