HERE ARE SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inventory Management & Reporting:
    • execute accurate and timely inventory count and reporting
    • initiate corrective action when discrepancies occur or thresholds are breached
    • identify root causes and suggest long-term solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Packing and Shipping:
    • inspect packages carefully to guarantee accuracy and quality control
    • handle minor damage cases (minor scuffs, tears) and rectify immediately without affecting customer satisfaction levels
    • display high level of professionalism when dealing with sensitive materials or situations
  • Visibility and Organization:
    • track incoming shipments, update labels as required
    • coordinate with receiving staff to assign items correctly
    • update database records accurately and efficiently upon shipment completion
  • Quality Assurance and Control:
    • use hand tools to inspect products according to quality standards and reports discrepancies immediately
    • follow strict guidelines while handling hazardous materials
    • analyze product performance data and offer suggestions for improvements
  • Communication and Teamwork:
    • communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and managers alike
    • provide detailed descriptions of issues or concerns experienced during the shipping process
    • volunteer for ongoing training sessions to improve proficiency in inventory management software

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any field OR 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Work Experience:
    • at least 3.5 years experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain operations or similar field
  • Skills:
    • accurate data entry and record keeping
    • effective communication and problem-solving skills
    • high level of organizational ability
