**Waterpark Safety:**

The Lifeguard plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of our Guests in the Hurricane Harbor Waterpark.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Surveillance and Emergency Response: Maintain constant vigilance and supervision of Guests in the waterpark, recognizing and responding to aquatic emergencies as needed.
  • Training and Certification: Maintain a 'Test-Ready' skill level at all times after certification, adhering to all policies and procedures outlined in the Ellis & Associates ILTP program.

**Requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age to obtain Special Facilities License.
  • Certification: Must be able to successfully pass all applicable lifeguard training and licensing through Jeff Ellis & Associates.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able to exit from a pool/attraction at any point without the use of ladders, steps, or a zero depth exit.
