Product Development Director

Inspira Technologies has developed a breakthrough Augmented Respiration Technology (ART), which potentially allows patients to remain awake during treatment while reducing the need for highly invasive and costly mechanical ventilation systems.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and establish engineering processes.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Industrial Management Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience as an Engineer Manager in a mechanical-based company. Medical experience is advantageous.

• Lead the engineering team to design and develop new products and technologies
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials
• Establish engineering processes to ensure regulatory compliance and quality control
• Responsible for release new components and ensuring their integration into existing products
• Interfaces with various departments to initiate solutions to production problems
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and technologies to meet production requirements and ensure cost-effective integration of new products or improvements to existing ones
• Hire and train new engineering staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in relevant R&D stages design reviews

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Management Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as an Engineer Manager in a mechanical-based company
• Experience working with PLM systems and Agile methodologies is advantageous
• Knowledge in production processes, such as PCB assembly, mechanical technologies, and cable assembly
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken
