Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Nurse to provide high-quality care to obstetric patients in an inpatient setting. This role involves managing patients through all stages of pregnancy, labor, delivery (including surgical deliveries), and postpartum care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in fetal monitoring, patient education, medication administration, and emergency response within the OB setting. Location: Urbana, IL Schedule: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Department: Inpatient Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery Contract Type: Travel Pay: $2,760 per week Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience , preferably in obstetric or labor & delivery settings Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to handle high-acuity, fast-paced patient environments Licensure & Certifications: Active Illinois RN License in good standing BLS – Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Association) NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program (American Heart Association) Why Join Us?
