Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Hospitalist to join our inpatient team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established, collaborative hospitalist program at a respected community hospital with access to comprehensive specialty services. Position Details Full-time night shift position 7 on / 7 off schedule: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM Responsible for admissions from the Emergency Department, specialist consults, and transfers from other local Prime hospitals Participate in Rapid Response Team (RRT) and Code Blue activations (average of 2 per night) Cross-cover hospitalist patients (approximately 5458 patients on the service) Average of 8 patient admissions per night (may vary depending on call status) No procedures required in-house anesthesiologist available for intubations Access to eICU physician support Comprehensive Stroke Center and referral site for high-risk PCI and cardiothoracic surgery within the Prime Healthcare network Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Current Illinois medical license (MD or DO) or in process Unrestricted current DEA registration ACLS certification required Clean background and professional references Strong team player with excellent communication and patient care skills No procedural skills required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Malpractice insurance coverage CME allowance and paid time off Retirement plan Supportive team-based hospitalist group Opportunities for long-term growth and stability within Prime Healthcare Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $300,000.00 to $345,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
