Core Staff will cover Pre/Post Patient Service Area (PSA) DNU South Chicagoland JOB SUMMARY Trinity - IR JOB DESCRIPTION Advocate Trinity Cath/EP/IR Facility has approximate 205 licensed beds; no trauma designation. Level II NICU. Blended Lab @ Trinity: 1 Lab, 3 pre and 3 post recovery bays; Able to do simple procedures in the bay areas. EPIC charting, CV PACS. Equipment: MERGE Hemo, Phillip C-arm, Volcano, Shock Wave, Phillips Asurion X-ray. IR Procedures: Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, embolization (UFE), IVC filter placement, SVC repair, line placement (PICC, various central lines), assist with CT biopsies, fistulas, needle aspirations, shock wave lithotripsy, progressive vascular limp program for lower extremity PAD Cath Lab: STEMI, IABP, stage PCI EP: Generator exchange (dual, single, leadless) Lowest volume of patient type at Trinity. Scrubs provided by facility. Free parking onsite. Candidate MUST HAVE: - 2 years IR Tech experience - experience in Cath Lab and IR procedures - active IL license (IEMA) - active BLS (AHA), ARRT (IR), and CCI Technical Skills required: sterile technique is a must, able to function well in a team, strong communication skills especially with physicians, knowledgeable in aseptic technique, aware of radiation safety, able to anticipate physician’s needs. HIGHLY PREFER a candidate with CBT certification, but not required.
