Clean Harbors Hammond, IN is looking for a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to join their safety conscious team This position will be responsible for the repairs and preventative maintenance of all company owned fleet. Day to day consist of working on drive lines, transmissions, suspensions, clutches, air brakes, and any other maintenance needed. THIS WILL BE A 2ND SHIFT POSITION WORKING FROM 3PM-11PM Why work for Clean Harbors? Maintain facility via housekeeping duties Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business. What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? High School diploma or equivalent required Ability to work in a team environment 2 years prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment. Must provide own basic tools Related mechanical certifications preferred (not required) Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire 40-years of sustainability in action.
