If your miles are short (delays, breakdowns, etc.) you’ll still earn the guaranteed amount. Activity pay for the WORK you do, not just the miles you run: $20 for pickups and deliveries $12 for trailer relays and shuttles $20/hour detention pay (starts after 1 hour) $270 - $280/day layover pay Paid Orientation at Nussbaum Headquarters—$200/day Freight Majority of loads are within a 350-mile radius. Some loads may be up to 400 miles, but rarely (if ever) further. Hiring in Northeast Illinois into Wisconsin Driver Benefits Home Weekly Most workweeks are Mon-Fri, offering full weekends at home. You may occasionally leave Sunday or get home Saturday, but much less frequently than OTR.
