Senior System Engineer

Pixellot, the global leader in AI-automated sports production, is looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our product development team. In this role, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end system design of our smart camera solutions. You will define system requirements, architecture, and integration processes — ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable products that meet market and business needs.

As part of your role, you will:

• Report to the VP of R&D and work closely with cross-functional teams including product, hardware, software, and AI
• Define and collect system requirements in collaboration with product managers, customers, and technical stakeholders
• Design end-to-end system architecture, including hardware, software, computer vision components, and communication interfaces
• Write detailed technical documentation: System Requirements Specs (SRS), Interface Control Documents (ICD), Design documents, and test plans
• Lead integration processes of hardware and software components, including debugging and root cause analysis
• Collaborate closely with teams across hardware, software, algorithms, QA, and manufacturing
• Own the planning and execution of system-level Verification & Validation (V&V) processes
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose effective system-level solutions
• Support system testing, installations, and customer deployments — from early trials to post-launch support
• Evaluate new technologies and lead the selection and implementation of innovative system solutions

You should bring with you:

• B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of industry experience, including 5+ years as a System Engineer
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary product development (hardware + software + algorithms)
• Proven experience with camera-based systems, computer vision, or AI-powered platforms
• Broad technical understanding in areas such as embedded systems, communication protocols, sensors, and optics
• Good understanding of Cloud Architecture
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to produce high-quality documentation in English
• Strong leadership, independence, and the ability to drive cross-functional processes
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strategic, system-oriented mindset

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience managing or developing large-scale IoT device fleets, including monitoring, remote updates, and performance optimization – this is a significant advantage
• Management experience or team leadership background — as the role may grow into leading a Systems Engineering group in the future
• Experience working in fast-paced product companies or startups
• Hands-on experience with real-time systems or hardware/software integration
• Background in supporting field deployments and customer installations
