The Strategic Planner is responsible for understanding the market, the consumer, and the brand and turning those insights into clear strategic directions and inspiring creative briefs. The role combines analytical thinking, cultural awareness, and creative problem-solving, working closely with creative, media, and client teams to shape effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic processes for clients in collaboration with creative, media, and digital departments.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, category reviews, and consumer behavior studies.
  • Identify and articulate consumer, cultural, and category insights.
  • Develop brand strategies, including brand positioning, value proposition, and storytelling.
  • Create inspiring and actionable creative briefs for the creative team.
  • Present strategic thinking, insights, and campaign directions to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support campaign development from insight through execution.
  • Track industry trends, emerging consumer behaviors, and innovation in advertising and digital.
  • Work with Data/Analytics teams to interpret performance metrics and refine strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in strategic planning, marketing strategy, brand planning, or consumer research
  • Strong analytical skills combined with creative and conceptual thinking.
  • Solid understanding of marketing, advertising, and digital ecosystems.
  • Ability to interpret data, uncover insights, and build a compelling narrative.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with research tools and market insights platforms (e.g., Google Trends, social listening tools, SimilarWeb).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Behavioral Sciences, Sociology, Economics, or related fields—preferred.
  • High level of English (reading/writing); additional languages are a plus.
