What would you be doing?

Technical and people leadership of a cross-functional team (Backend, Frontend, QA Automation) delivering scalable, cloud-native services

- End-to-end ownership of feature delivery: from design and architecture to deployment and production monitoring

- Defining and enforcing engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development workflows

- Collaborating with Product, Architecture, and DevOps teams to drive roadmap execution

- Leading Agile ceremonies, ensuring delivery predictability, and fostering continuous improvement

- BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent

- 3+ years of experience as an R&D Team Leader, managing at least 5 engineers

- 10+ years of backend development experience in Java (Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle)

- Practical experience with Go (used for system/integration testing or tooling)

- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with microservices architecture, including service decomposition, API gateway patterns, and inter-service communication

- Deep expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs

- Hands-on experience with RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL), including schema design, query optimization, and transaction management

- Proven experience with containerized applications using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes

- Strong CI/CD knowledge: Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD – including pipeline design, test automation integration, and deployment strategies

- Experience in deploying and operating services in public cloud environments (AWS preferred – EKS, S3, IAM, etc.)

- Strong Git skills and experience working with GitHub / GitLab / Azure DevOps / Bitbucket

- Proficiency in system design, performance analysis, and distributed system concepts

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of articulating complex technical topics in English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

-Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, Webpack, MobX or Redux)

- Exposure to application security, secure coding practices, and static analysis (SAST)

- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
