Spacecom, a leading satellite communications company, is looking for an IP Infrastructure Associate to join our team and support our advanced services worldwide. In this role, you will work closely with customers, partners, vendors, and internal teams to design, implement, and maintain IP networks while providing high-level support that ensures reliable and secure operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Define, design, and implement customer IP networks.
· Deploy and support IP connectivity for company-managed services.
· Collaborate with internal Network and IT teams to ensure secure integration with company infrastructure.
· Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring excellent collaboration, clear communication, and outstanding service delivery.
· Provide IP-related support to Spacecom's Tier 1 team and resolve customer issues (Tier 1 & Tier 2 support).
· Operate and troubleshoot company infrastructure (HUBs, routers, monitoring systems, transmission lines) to ensure smooth managed services delivery.
· Operate command and telemetry infrastructures.
· Oversee maintenance activities at company facilities and remote stations, coordinating with subcontractors as needed.
Requirements
· Excellent communication skills.
· At least 2 years of hands-on experience in IP Engineering and networking (BGP, L2/L3 VPN, VLAN, VRF, QoS, TCP/UDP, RIP).
· Professional expertise at CCNA level or equivalent.
· Familiarity with networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper).
· Strong understanding of Tier 1 & Tier 2 support processes, including SLAs.
· Solid technical background in IT network analysis and troubleshooting.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work across teams, communicate effectively with customers, and deliver top-quality service.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proactive, eager to learn, and willing to grow.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Good command of English, both spoken and written.
Advantages
· CCNP certification.
· Previous experience working with an ISP.
· Familiarity with firewall concepts and operation (Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint).
· Technical background in satellite communications, spectrum, and RF.
· Experience with VMware operations (creating VMs, configuring networks).
· Basic Linux skills (software installation, CLI).
· Knowledge of satellite-based internet systems.
· Familiarity with broadcast systems, video compression, streaming, and multiplexing.
Additional Information
· This role requires mandatory on-site presence at both Neve Ilan and Ramat Gan offices on designated weekdays.
