About the Role

We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join us for a focused, time-bounded project involving the creation of a cross-platform mobile application to be published on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The ideal candidate will take part in designing and building a secure, user-friendly mobile app that interacts with our backend systems to support EV charging functionality. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys end-to-end ownership within a well-defined delivery window.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop a React Native mobile application for iOS and Android from the ground up.


• Implement secure user authentication (email/password login, token handling, session management).


• Integrate with backend REST APIs to:

o Retrieve user and charging session information

o Check the online/offline status of charging stations

o Trigger start and stop charging commands


• Build intuitive and responsive UI/UX screens including:

o Login

o Real-time charging status

o Charging animation and progress states

o Session summary


• Publish and maintain the app on Apple App Store and Google Play, including certificate/profile management and store submission processes.


• Ensure code quality through GitHub-based workflows, proper branching, and documentation.


• Collaborate using tools such as Jira and GitHub where needed.

Required Qualifications


• 2+ years of hands-on experience in React Native development.


• Proven track record publishing mobile applications to App Store and Google Play.


• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).


• Experience consuming and integrating with REST APIs.


• Practical understanding of secure authentication flows.


• Experience with GitHub and version control best practices.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have


• Familiarity with AWS services.


• Experience working in SaaS environments.


• Background in EV charging technologies, OCPP, EVSE/charge boxes.


• UI animation experience (charging animations or similar).

About the Project

The project involves developing a functional and advanced mobile application, based on integration with backend systems, presenting data to users in real-time, implementing high-quality visual user interfaces, and adhering to modern security standards.
