About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and the overarching design strategy for Ludeo's innovative product. You will ensure our offerings are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly, catering to the specific needs of the gaming community. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts, you will translate innovative concepts into reality and propel our product vision forward. This role offers the exciting opportunity to lead design initiatives for both new and existing products within a company that is redefining game discovery.

What You'll Do:

  • Craft user-centric product interfaces and experiences specifically for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, and engineers to translate product goals into innovative design solutions.
  • Conduct thorough user research and usability testing to gather insights that will shape design decisions.
  • Create prototypes at various levels of fidelity, and polished high-fidelity designs for new features and enhancements.
  • Maintain design consistency and coherence across the entire product, contributing to the overall design strategy and vision.
  • Adopt a business-oriented approach to design, ensuring alignment with company objectives and user needs.
  • Actively seek user input, analyze user behavior, and incorporate feedback into the design process.
  • Conduct detailed competitor research and document findings.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of Ludeo's design system, including UI kits and design resources.
  • Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience working in product design with a strong portfolio
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication or a closely related field (Product Design, Graphic Design, HCI, Interaction Design)
  • Proven experience in independently planning, executing, and synthesizing findings from various user research methods.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design best practices, and responsive design techniques.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools, with a strong emphasis on Figma.
  • Excellent visual design skills, coupled with a keen sensitivity to user-system interaction and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate design ideas and prototypes clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to consider business objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to think outside conventional boundaries, particularly within the gaming industry.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proactive attitude towards taking ownership of design projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
