Role Description

The Malware Analyst will contribute to the development and improvement of anti-malware detection and prevention capabilities. This role requires top-notch expertise in modern malware families, OS internals, and strong understanding of advanced attack frameworks.

Responsibilities include analyzing customer issues, developing cutting-edge malware signatures, and helping prevent malicious activity in customer environments. The analyst will work closely with global teams and support automation initiatives to streamline routine processes.

Your Impact

• Collaborate with other research teams in Israel and globally

• Work closely with support, sales, and cross-functional teams

• Analyze malware and maintain an up-to-date understanding of the current threat landscape

• Support digitization efforts by contributing to automation of routine playbooks

Your Experience

• Familiarity with malware and malware analysis techniques (must)

• Experience with Python (must)

• Play-to-win attitude (must)

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to perform in a fast-moving, dynamic environment

• May occasionally require non-regular hours, including weekends or holidays

• Experience developing signatures using YARA – advantage

• Experience developing IPS signatures – advantage

• Experience using Git – advantage

• Experience using BigQuery or SQL-based query languages – advantage

• Previous experience in security research, analysis, SOC, or penetration testing roles – advantage

• Experience identifying, investigating, and responding to complex attacks – advantage
