Development Manager

A cyber defense company is seeking a
Development Manager
for its secure communication projects division.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the division manager, this position manages multidisciplinary teams of approximately 25 developers, including software, hardware, RF, electronics, mechanics, and QA. The role requires strategic planning, goal setting, performance tracking, and oversight of multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of new systems and products and upgrades of existing products: requirements, design, integration, verification, and transfer to production.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring resource prioritization and target achievement.
  • Define and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure high-quality standards across all development activities.

Requirements:

  • Electronics Engineer – required.
  • Proven experience as a Development Manager – 5+ years.
  • Previous experience as an engineer or team lead in multidisciplinary projects – 10+ years.
  • Experience in the defense industry – strong advantage.
  • Security clearance – advantage.
  • Strong leadership, ability to motivate teams, system-level thinking, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
