Role Overview

We are seeking a
Finance Assistant

to support the daily financial operations of the company while working directly with the
Company Controller and CFO

. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to gain hands-on exposure to financial management, reporting, and strategic planning within a growing organization.

The Finance Assistant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, and assisting leadership with insights that drive informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Controller and CFO with day-to-day financial operations
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking
• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance-related tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Contribute to process improvements and financial controls as the company scales

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role (internships included)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with accounting software is a plus
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Clear communication skills and comfort working with senior leadership
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
